advice to be away from drugs


Whenever you are tired, stressed, angered, irritated, follow these steps:
1. Close your eyes and start paying attention your breath.
Feel the air you inhale and the air you exhale. Feel the cold fresh air entering
your nostrils and the warm air that comes out. Count your breathing.
2. Do the counting in reverse way. Say 50, 49, 48…to 1and be aware of your breathing.
3. Place your hand on your abdomen. Feel the expansion of your abdomen, like a balloon, as you inhale and the contractions of your abdomen as you exhale.
4. Feel movement of your diaphragm and your chest as you breathe in and breathe out.
You can practice all the steps or any one of the steps. It can be practiced anywhere, any time, and for any short/ long duration. Even two minutes of concentration on your breathing can give excellent stress relief.
